How long will it take?

On the first call we will walk you through what the work involves and what moves the timeline, so you can plan around it properly. What we avoid is a date invented before anyone knows the scope. Most of the timeline on a small project comes down to how fast content and decisions come back, which is something we plan together and something you control.

Question 3

Do you work with businesses outside Perth?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Being in Perth matters for the businesses that are here: same timezone, same working week. But nothing about the work requires us to be in the same city.

Question 4

What if we start and it is not working out?

Accepted Answer

You can stop, and you keep everything produced up to that point. We would much rather have an honest conversation early than hand over something neither of us is proud of, and in practice that conversation usually gets the project back on track.

What if I already have a website?

Accepted Answer

That is the usual starting point, and often the easier one. Most people who get in touch have a site already. It has simply aged out and stopped matching the business it is meant to represent. Starting from a domain you already have is an advantage. It carries history with Google instead of beginning from zero, and whatever recognition you have built stays with you. We rebuild on top of it to a modern standard, shaped around what the business needs now rather than what it needed when the old site went up.

Do I own the site?

Completely. The domain, the hosting account and the site itself are yours and stay in your name. Most clients add ongoing management, so in practice we are the ones maintaining it. That is a service you choose rather than a condition of keeping your site online, and everything can be handed over, changed or removed whenever you ask.

Can I edit it myself afterwards?

If you know your way around it, yes. We can build it so you can make changes yourself and hand the keys over, and some clients want exactly that. Most would rather not learn it, which is the usual reason people take ongoing management. You send us the change and we make it, from swapping a paragraph or an image through to new pages and new sections, depending on the plan you are on.

How are the sites built?

In code, by us. We use modern web tooling and build custom components, including the animation and motion work, rather than assembling a template on a page builder. The difference shows up in the things you can measure and the things you cannot. A coded site is faster and lighter, and there is no ceiling on what it can do, so the design follows your business instead of your business being squeezed into somebody else's layout.

What features do your sites have?

Search, properly. Metadata, structured data, a clean semantic document and local search signals, built in rather than sold as an upgrade. What we will not promise is a specific ranking, because that depends on somebody else's algorithm. The technical groundwork is the part within our control, and it gets done properly. Findable by assistants, not only by search engines. Plenty of people now ask an assistant for a recommendation instead of scrolling a results page, and the same clear structure and honest writing that helps you rank is what lets an assistant describe you correctly. Motion that earns its place. Scroll-driven sequences, components that react to the cursor, transitions that tell you where you are. It is the difference between a site somebody remembers and a brochure that happens to be online. Fast, and built for a phone first. Most of your visitors arrive on mobile data and decide in a few seconds, so every build is measured and tuned for exactly that. Speed is the baseline here, not an upgrade.

What can you actually automate?

The repetitive, rule-shaped parts of a week. Triaging and answering common enquiries, booking and confirming and reminding, moving data between the places it currently gets retyped, chasing the follow-up nobody has time to send. The test we apply is simple: after this is built, does anyone have to think about it again? If the answer is yes, we built the wrong thing.

Will it get things wrong?

Occasionally, which is exactly why nothing we build is allowed to fail quietly. Automations handle the ordinary case and pass anything unusual straight to a person, with the context attached. You stay in control of the exceptions. That is the design, and it is what makes the rest safe to hand over.

Is my data safe?

Accepted Answer

We do not hold your customer data beyond what an automation needs to do its job, and we do not train anything on it. We only keep the information the automation actually needs to run. Confidential material does not need to sit with us, so it does not. What we do hold is kept behind proper security software and access controls, not in someone's inbox or a spreadsheet on a laptop. Because we run your automations, some of the connections between your tools sit with us. We will show you what is connected and where, and any of it can be changed or removed whenever you ask.

Do I own the automations?

The process is yours and so are the rights to it. What is different from a website is that we run and maintain it, so ongoing management is part of every automation we build rather than something you opt into. That does not change who is in charge. Ask us to change it, pause it, or take it out altogether and we do it. We operate it, you direct it.

Will my team need to learn new software?

Ideally not. We build automations into the tools you already use rather than adding another app with another login and another thing to remember. If you are looking to properly upgrade and modernise how the business runs, that changes. We can build something more involved, where the automations and a custom website interface become the system your team actually works in, rather than a layer sitting on top of tools you have outgrown.

Is this just a logo?

No. A logo on its own does not fix the actual problem, which is that your quote, your site, your signage and your social posts look like four different companies. You get the mark, a palette with defined roles, type rules, a voice, and a short guide you can hand to a printer or a new hire.

Can you work with the brand I already have?

Accepted Answer

Yes, and it tends to work well. Plenty of businesses have a mark that is genuinely good with no system built around it. Tightening up what you already have costs less than replacing it, and it keeps the recognition you have spent time building.

Why is there no pricing on the site?

Accepted Answer

Because a five-page site for a sole trader and a site with bookings, payments and three integrations are not the same job, and pricing them as if they were means one client subsidises the other. This is not a way of avoiding the question. On the first call we will tell you the range we think you are in, and if that range is wrong for you we would both rather know in the first thirty minutes than the third week.

Is the discovery call really free?

Yes, and there is no obligation attached to it. Thirty minutes, mapping where your week goes. Most of the value is in the conversation and you keep it whether you hire us or not.

Question 19

What if I only want one of the three services?

Accepted Answer

Completely fine, and common. They are sold separately on purpose, so plenty of people take one, see how it performs, and add another later. Taking two, or all three together, is just as welcome. They do feed each other, which is worth knowing before you decide. A brand kit is where a site starts, and automations tend to work better designed into a site from the beginning than added afterwards. That is information, not a pitch for the bigger package. The order is yours to choose.

What happens after the project ends?

For a website or a brand kit, everything is yours and everything is documented. If you want us for ongoing changes we are here, but staying with us should be a choice, never the only option that does not break something. Automations work differently on purpose. We run and maintain them, so there is no point where they get handed over and left to drift. That side is ongoing, and if you ever want to take it in-house or stop altogether, you get the process and the documentation rather than a switch being flicked off.
